![]() ![]() Hello Daniel, Apologies for the inconvenience caused. It's as if the Android AxCrypt app is unable to direct "Android MSWord" to the local decrypted file-copy. BUT then tries (and fails) to open Word, and jumps back to the decrypted file list. ![]() If you create a MSWord file on a PC and park the encrypted file in Dropbox, then try to open that file in an Android environment with AxCrypt/Android, the app WILL find the file in Dropbox, decrypt it, and produce a local Android-device copy. Daniel īuggy - won't allow MSWord editing in Android environment. Want to encrypt 500 files or images? Well I hope you have the day free AND 100% of the files I try to encrypt give me an error message. As a mobile app it is completely useless! He suggested using other apps to open them, but they don't work either. Support informed me that it was due to a new version of Android. Worked well previously but now does not open encrypted Office files (ex. The lack of better/improved mobile support is quite a big negative, unfortunately. When will my wait be over? Aside from this, it's a relatively straightforward, easy, and secure app on desktop. I keep waiting and waiting for the promised mobile update so that I can finally decrypt and open Microsoft Office documents (Excel, Word) on my phone. ![]()
